You want to get married to:The chorus of
Dahil Sa Iyo 2-3 times, sung by a Piolo Pascual-esque Filipino crooner boy. This is the plan if I end up marrying a sexy Tagalog-speaking Pinoy who will appreciate my song choice, but I shall leave that in God's hands.
Reminds you of an ex-lover:"More Than Melody" by Anna Nalick
You'd like to make love to:Etta James'
Mystery Lady: Songs of Billie Holiday album
She picks all of Miss Holiday's more sultry songs and makes them even more risque.
You'd like to dance to:So I'll let you all in on a little secret - I am a slow-dance virgin. I have never dated the type to randomly take me dancing. The one dance I attended in my entire life back in middle school, I was SO not going to touch a boy. That said, I think Bette Midler's "Do You Wanna Dance" would make a great first dance song.
Means more to you than you can express:"In paradisum"
I sang the English translation as a solo at one of the most powerful, life-changing funerals I have ever been to. I couldn't find the name of the composer on Google, but I did find the lyrics in both English and Latin:
In paradisum deducant te angeli:
in tuo adventu suscipant te martyres,
et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Ierusalem.
Chorus angelorum te suscipiat, et cum Lzaro
quondam paupere aeternam habeas reqiuem.
May angels guide you and bring you into Paradise:
and may all the martyrs come forth to welcome you home,
and may they lead you into the Holy City Jerusalem.
May the choirs of angels sing to welcome you, and like Lazarus
forgotten and poor, you shall have everlasting rest. Makes you sad:"Passage" by Vienna Teng
Makes you laugh:"You Rascal You" by Louis Armstrong
Makes you smile:"At The Beginning" from the
Anastasia soundtrack. It's kind of old, but from it still can be heard in the background at restaurants or retail stores from time to time, and each time, I never fail to (1) notice, (2) sing along, (3) think "EEEE! It's that song from Anastasia!!"
Sums up your teenage years:Hanson, definitely. Not only because I loved them like whoa! in middle school, but because I feel that my teen years are comparable to Hanson's growth as a band. At surface level, people hear the name Hanson immediately think "MMMBop" - annoying, girly voices, girly appearances, no real lyrics, yada yada. Listen beyond MMMBop, and there is a lot more substance. Tying back to me, I was a lot more complex and a lot cooler than I let on in middle and high school.
Makes you horny:"Temptation" by Diana Krall
Perks you up:"Ven conmigo (solamente tĂș)" by Christina Aguilera. "Come On Over" in Spanish makes me happier for some reason.

Found this survey on my Xanga way back to the strange entries of senior year, and figured I'd revive it in an attempt to get me updating again.
